Description

Pendleton couldn't believe his ears. He'd taken this new job hoping to make money, not marry into it! But if runaway heiress Kit McClellan didn't agree to enter into wedded bliss soon, the entire family fortune could be willed to the homeless pets of Louisville. Someone had to find Kit and bring her back as his finace--and his boss was telling Pendleton he was just the man for the job.

When the McClellan's get the will reading of a lifetime they know that the only way they will inherit the McClellan's millions is by marrying off the spunky, bitchy, rude, arrogant Kit (don't you get the picture that for 99.9% of the time I did not like her at all). Now Pendleton he was a nice guy but, to me when he wasn't hilarious he was boring. There were times in this book where I wanted to read the next chapter but, times where I wanted to lay it down..Now if the entire book was as great as the last 10% I would have rated this book higher!
