'Girls like you aren't exactly welcomed at a place like this, so keep your head down and look the other way.' Those were the exact words of my social worker when she dropped me in my newest hellhole, a place for 'troubled teens.' I didn't listen, and now I'm on their radar. They expect me to play along in their games of hierarchy. To fall in line in the social order they've deemed me fit. Too bad for them. I don't follow rules. Too bad for me. They're determined to make sure I do. show more Inconceivably attractive and treated like kings ... these are the boys of Brayshaw High. And I'm the girl who got in their way. show lessTags

I had no idea that when I started this book, I would fall head over heels in love with the characters the way that I did. From the Brayshaw brothers, right down to Raven, I was captured and enamored by them.
I will say Raven pissed me off on several occasions throughout the whole book, her stubbornness and recklessness were as irritating as it was understandable. The four of them fit well, like a perfectly layered PB&J sandwich. The only thing stopping them from completely sealing the deal is the fact that the boys grew up with something Raven has never known and doesn't know how to perceive it. The boys grew up knowing love and loyalty, they have always had each other to rely on, Raven grew up fending for herself. While I can show more understand why she reacted in certain situations, the frustration is still just as intense. She needs to come to terms and accept that what she wants is love, security, trust, and a solid foundation; she needs to let go of her fear and allow what the Brayshaw brothers are trying to offer her, it's just as hard for them as it is for her.
I will say of the three brothers Royce is my favorite. I love and adore all brothers, and I do agree with the Maddoc and Raven pairing, but Royce is my absolute favorite brother/character. Great job Meagan, on creating such strong, independent; yet vulnerable characters.
I am looking forward to reading more of the Brayshaw brothers. #TeamBrayshaw show less

this reminded me a lot of paper princess but.. better. i enjoyed the main character a lot, i also liked her relationship with the “boys”
the only guy i didn’t truly like was her love interest he’s too much possessive and controlling and i’m not a big fan of that. obviously this is one of those new adult with a lot of problematic stuff you don’t agree with but you can enjoy reading as long as you recognize that it’s not healthy. it was addictive and i can’t wait to see where the story goes next after that cliffhanger in the end

This book started slow for me. I wasn't relating to it but I persisted on. Thank god I did because when it finally started getting good it was GOOD. I'm hooked. That cliffhanger though... Cursing something fierce right now.
Not sure who I love more... Raven or the Boys...

This was slow and felt like there wasn't much of a point to it. Most of the book was arguing and banter between Raven and the Brayshaw boys. I liked the Raven was strong and not a push over. She didn't let the boys do whatever they wanted and didn't take shit from the girls. After a while, Raven made friends with the boys and they were treating her a lot better, but she still resisted them a lot and I felt like it was a bit of overkill. The plot was lacking and the ending was blah. It didn't leave me wanting more.
Absolutely amazing, this is the type of books I fall in love with and never let go. I can't wait for the next book. Wish for the audiobooks soon as well. I need this sexy guys talking to me.
I’m completely in love with this book. I loved everything about it: the characters, the chemistry. I need more please.
