Her early years as a young church goer and rebellious teen unfortunately involved years of abuse, medical issues, and other obstacles have rightfully prepared her for the road which is to come. She is a living testimony and has gifted us with her life's journey through written expression.  There's a continuum of awaited lessons that lie ahead!Shaniqua Jones is an inspirational author, educator, and Restorative Justice Circle Keeper. She has co-authored two publications on entrepreneurship including The Entrepreneur Within You and Success, Failure and Recovery. When she's not raising her five children and being a wife, she's most likely writing or involved in activities relating to collaborative communities and education for young and adult learners. You can visit her at www.shaniquajones.com.Praise for 12: A Memoir to My Younger Self"These few pages encompass such transparent, in-depth, embracing pieces of Shaniqua's life story in which most wouldn't even imagine unless reading it themselves. It will engage you, attack you and then smooth you out in way that the instinct of survival and love could simultaneously. Get ready! You will be blown away just to know the Shaniqua of THIS day is truly a living testimony of what God takes away and then restores one hundred fold!" - Tiffany Jasper"I've known Shaniqua for nearly 3 years and in that time, I've heard her story of overcoming the challenges in her life and learning that we shared a similar journey in our battles with cancer. Having finished the book, I'm amazed at all the obstacles that she has overcome and all of the demons she's stared down. This is an inspiring story of a young, unsure girl who transforms into a spiritually strong woman." - Julie Herzog "The trials and tribulations of life can be suffocating at times. I am so proud of the amazing woman and mother that Shaniqua has become. This story is a testament to what hard work and dedication can do for a woman's soul; it is truly remarkable. I cannot wait to read it a second time through! What a journey!" - Julie M. Holloway… (more)
