Very cute book! This book can used for reselling beginning, middle and end as well using this book if you were doing a lesson or theme on Texas. The author did a great job with the illustrations and very creative when we used a gingerbread for the cowboy.
I loved this book, this is another good book to show kids that you can write stories using the same version but you can change the setting of the story and the character traits. Great to use with expression and can change the dialect of it instead of reading it ordinary. Th
This story is very predictable and great for teaching story progression. I think kids will like the Jalepeno man and his journey.
This was a fun story as a knock off of the gingerbread man. It was fun and had a lot of description words.
Children love this book because it is very predictable after the first few pages. I would use this to teach the sequencing of events as well as using it for character traits.
I would use this book to teach the southwest culture or for sequencing. I think students will like it because it's an adventureous story.
A unique version of the Gingerbread Man. Could be used for compare/contrast lesson between both stories.
