The bird eats an apple and ends up becoming fat and full. At the end of the book the bird falls asleep on its back. I think that this is a very simple book and the illustrations are very clear. This book would be great for Pre-K and Kindergarten students because there are no words and it is easy to follow. I also think that they would get a kick out of the bird becoming fat and falling asleep at the end. It would be a great book for a fall unit.

This is a story told just through pictures, a bird eats an entire apple turning himself into the apple. I would read this book to early elementary students, not only does it give students a different type of book to "read" but it also introduces good eating habits.

This is a picture book about a bird eating an apple. He eats the whole thing that he himself turns into the apple. I think this book is a good little picture book it gives a hidden message about eating good foods such as fruit. It made me hungry looking at the apple. This would be a great book to use in the classroom when talking about the importance of eating good food and the portion of food that we should be consuming so that we don't eat too much.
This book is about a bird eating a whole apple until it gone and he/she is napping because the bird's too full. I like this book because it very colorful and I will use it for my teaching to show my students how they can still understand the story without having to read. It will be suitable for k-2 graders.
The Apple Bird is a story about a little bird that comes across a big apple and eats it until it fills its tummy! This book is aimed at early childhood and would be good for teaching because it allows children to narrate the story themselves and use their creative imagination to tell the story of the bird.
This wordless picture book encourages children to use their imagination and create their own text.
