A Woman's Place: Memoirs of a Gibraltarian Woman - a "Llanita"

I bought this book while vacationing in Gibraltar. It tells the story of the author's life in this community -- of setting up a women's organization, petitioning the Queen to show support for Gibraltar to remain under British control, and many other interesting episodes in this woman's life. It gave me a perspective on the country that I would not otherwise have enjoyed.
