Friesen has developed a rich cast of characters with wonderful interactions. Her dialogue is rich and sounds like authentic teenage dialogue. Humorous and touching and highly meaningful this well layered novel is well written and an enjoyable read.
Fifteen-year-old Ben thinks he has no choice but to leave his dance classes after his friends tease him about it, but when Great-Aunt Frieda comes for a visit and shares an important story, his feelings are forever changed.
