Celebrate mother diversity with this great and funny book. Big, colorful pictures are simple, bold, and totally effective.
A touching book celebrating different kinds of mothers and how their differences make them special. Todd Parr's books give children a strong sense of self-esteem and a celebration of diversity at a young age. One of my favorites.
Simple story about all types of moms. Illustrations are childish, line drawn characters. Emphasises how every mom is different, but no other models of care giver is portrayed. For this reason, I would keep this as an at home book rather than a lesson book.
I love Todd Parr's books, with their brightly-colored stick figures and simple, inclusive messages.
This book is a good example of poetry because it is written in short sets of words with repeating phrases of “some mommies” making it rhythmical. The story conveys a message that moms can do lots of things but there are things that moms have in common, like they like to kiss and hug their children. Age appropriate: primary. Media: watercolor.
an amazing book that discusses how all mommy are different and that it is wonderful

Com frases curtas, diretas e envolventes, Todd Parr mostra de maneira simples e divertida que existem diferentes tipos de mães. As ilustrações têm traços fortes e são bem coloridas, o que aproxima e chama a atenção da criança (e dos adultos também).
