Description
"There are so many different kinds of trees in the world, and each has special qualities that make it unique. This lyrical, fanciful collection of poems celebrates the singular beauty of each tree, from the gnarled old apple tree to the tall and graceful aspen" --Tags

Squee! Trees and poems in a picture-book. It's avl. at my library, but I might have to buy my own copy.

Well, no. The stereotypical assignment of gender is absolutely ridiculous. There is no reason an oak can't be a 'she.' Better yet, leave off mention of gender altogether, as some at the end did.
The pictures are attractive, but not amazing.
I just can't make myself like this, much less recommend it. So sad so to see such a good idea wasted.
