This book was just okay. A cute tale about a young queen who, for fear of mess, is not allowed to have a pet. This becomes a problem when she is invited to the village pet show...but she solves the problem by stealing the gardner's goat! The goat proceeds to drag her on a rampage through the whole countryside, picking up random bits of stuff as they go along. The punchline- the goat wins the best dressed award at the show, and is therefore allowed to become the official Royal Mascot. This book is pure fun with no real lesson, the illustrations are just nice, and the story is so-so. If read correctly, however, children would certainly enjoy.
