Tigger and Jasper are kittens who live on a farm. They are adopted by a sweet, and caring woman named Christie and soon find out that her eyes don't work. During this story, there are heartwarming scenes where the cats learn to care for Christie and learn about her blindness. This book helps end the stigma that blind people cannot do things for themselves. Throughout the book, it shows all the things Christie can do for herself. The two kittens feel safe with Christie. The message to children is that people with disabilities should not be defined by them.
