During my May, 2009 visit to The Hermitage museum in St. Petersburg, Russia, I picked up this guidebook. It contains the history, collections, interiors and plans as well as 650 color plates of items in the museum.

There are over three million items in this collection and if you spent one minute near each exhibit, you would need six years to go around the Hermiage display.

Totally an awesome place to visit and I am so glad I have this guidebook as a memory of a very exciting day.
