I loved the format of this book so much. I thought it was super adorable that each chapter was broken down into restaurant language starting with the appetizers and ending with dessert. It was further broken down in each chapter with the ingredients of the experiment, the recipe, food for thought, and more to chew on. I think this would be a great book to bring with you when taking your children out to eat. The experiments are something the whole family can participate in while waiting for food to arrive.
This is a fun activity book that proves science can also be in restaurants, picnic tables, in the kitchen, and wherever food is served. It gives children activities and show them the basic sense of healthy foods, matter and gas, and electricity. The book shows children a list of everyday materials, helpful hints, and instructions on how to make science at home more fun. Also, the illustrations help children to see how it is done. Very educational. Both teachers and parents can use this book to make learning fun!
A Tabletop Science Activity Book: Experiments and Tricks That Can Be Done at a Restaurant, the Dining Room Table, or Wherever Food is Served.
This book contains a variety of activities that can be done at the table while you are waiting for food to arrive at the table. These activities can be done with the materials found on the table or at a home. A lot of these activities can be incorporated into a science class.
