An excellent look at the ways feminism has helped women, and the negative effect of contemporary feminism. Bindel is a good writer, and she based her conclusions on recent research, and also on interviews she conducted with numerous women. She deplores the current situation where women are losing access to single-sex spaces, and women who have been victims of violence are being refused female counselors or female-only rooms. This book should be required reading for everyone, but I am afraid there are too many who would not be able to comprehend the logic.
