Married at 10 so her elderly husband can claim more land, Ginny is 15 when he comes to claim her. But when he dies shortly after, Ginny is left to manage her farm, fend off greedy relatives and find out who she is. A marvelous book, I highly recommend. This would be perfect for any fan of Laura Ingalls Wilder or Elizabeth George. YA historical fiction at it's best!
