I'm a dorky goof and I just really enjoyed this whole series. This one though, was by far my favorite. I'm not able to review each of the books in this series, but I just had to make some comments in regards to this story.
This 3rd book in the series is Brent's story. The lead guitarist has insecurity issues. He knows no one truly wants him, just the rocker persona that he portrays.
Heller (Hell) is one of the most unique and delightfully surprising characters that I've met. I did not expect him here, in this rocker series. In a fae/fantasy maybe, but not here. What a delight! He was just so well drawn and written that I think he'll be a favorite for everyone.
The descriptives developed and used here are the best I've read in any m/m read so far. Fresh, unique and engaging. Mykles really notched it up in this book.
Unfortunately, even with all the good there is still a complaint. This author seems to rely too heavily on sex (and I love sex scenes!) for building a relationship. There isn't any insight into why they want to be together other than the great sex. And the sex is great. Sure there's the, "he's so cute" and the needs and wants, but the why is missing.
Also, there is a bit of jealousy that begins to come off as over-the-top, but stick with it, it gets resolved and feels poignant. Still, I'm sticking with a huge 4 stars for the clever descriptive terms and Hell's unique character development.
***As the series continues a bit more relationship development occurs. The boys are "there" for each other, so that helps with believability. show less

Good God, the little devil didn't have a gagshow more
reflex!
The blessed, awful imp leaned in and started to pound...
Brent bitterly lamented that he couldn't taste it, but no matter what had been said, one didn't swallow on the first date.

I liked this installment but it didn't grab me as much as the previous two. I didn't feel that Brent's issues were clearly dealt with at the end - it would have liked to see more resolution in that area. But I wasn't bored at any point; the book did flow nicely. :)
Adorable and hot. I loved Hell, I would so have liked to see his POV. Brent’s insecurities were slightly annoying at times, and I would totally have believed it when he first said he didn’t love Hell. Alas, Brent was just blind.
This has quick become one of my favorite series.

Ok, I really loved this series and this author's voice. It is such a unique one.
I love the cover art, although this book is supposed to be two males? hmmmmm Hell looks a little like a chick here.
The only things I disliked with this book, is that it was way too short and this series does seem to have basically the same romance story over and over. Although, I really liked Brent in this story, it's great to see a star who is not the most confident person, but he is still very loved.
Pretty good book.

Pretty good book.
This a great conclusion for the Heaven Sent series (unless Jet Mykles doesn't think to write the story of Darien, the only not bisexual guy of the group).
Brent is a very talentuous guy, handsome but not beautiful, and not an alpha male. He is happy to lve among his friends and to let them drive his life. He was also the Luc's fuck buddy before push him to Reese, the real love. And he is happy for his friend, but old memories still prevent him to have a real story for himself, memories of girls first, and guys after, who walk across him to reach Luc and Johnnie. He really can't think that someone could love him when he has the change to meet the others.
But then arrives Hell, a cute guy with a cherub face and a demon behaviour. He is show more short and slim, but has a strong attitude. Even if Brent is greater in body, is Hell who lead their relationship. He doesn't accept a 'no' and doesn't want nothing less love. And wants Brent, only for him. And what he wants, he gets.
These are two wonderful characters, who play with the yaoi rule of cute=bottom, tall=top. Hell, believe me, is not a bottom at all, and when he bottoms, he is a pushy bottom! Brent instead is like a real artist, good in his art, his world, but feared by the outside world: he needs someone who drives him and who feels him important and unique.

Not my fave of the series, but still great!
I know it's a paradox, but ice cream is hot! You'll understand if you read the book.
