I have enjoyed this series since the beginning but for some reason, I did not connect with this story or the characters. This story is very fast-paced, more so than the others felt, and I had a hard time understanding the quirks of the characters. Caitlyn was interesting, to say the least. I liked Paulo a lot more than I liked her, even though I was very confused as to how he understood what was going on with her and why she was the way that she was. I struggled at times to stay engaged in the story but had to finish the book because I had read the entire series.

The premise of the story was good but it still seemed unplausible at times. Still a very good series. Even though this story wasn't my favorite, I appreciate the author and all her hard work. ( )
