Marcus is a great bad boy character. I didn't get his story as much. He still remains kind of a mystery to me even with the bit of back story we get about him. I am hopefully that will change as the series progresses.
The flow of the plot was really good and by 10 pages in I was already invested in the story. Though, I was not happy about the sudden ending. It is a HUGH cliffhanger and I don't love those. I would be more upset but the next book is out and available on KU. Needless to say, I will be reading the next book soon.
This book I read using Kindle Unlimited. Not free since I pay for the subscription, but non-the-less, I want to make a full disclosure. ( )
