This book was about a little girl called Polly and an evil man called Mr Gum. Polly finds a gingerbread man with loads and loads of money (it's a bit strange) and teaches him what friendship is. Basically, the 'Biscuit Billionaire' thought friendship was giving people money, but it's not, so he learnt in the end after his money had been stollen, because then there was no money to give.

It wasn't just Mr Gum who stole the money - it was his friend (Billy William) too. Can Polly, the Biscuit Billionaire and Friday O'Leary (Polly's friend) get the robbers and take the money back?

Do you think the Biscuit Billionaire learns that it's worse with money? Will he eventually learn what friendship actually is?

I really liked this book because of all show more it's jokes and things. Me and my mummy were laughing our heads off when it said 'The Historic Statue of Some Old Bloke on a Horse'! :D It was brilliantic and even though I can't remember what the first one was about, I assume it was better! show less

main character is female

When the biscut tin of money is Stolen, polly with her friend friday sets off to get it back for allan Taylor the buscuit billionare. Mr Gum is the evil character and he is disgusting in many ways and his friend is even worse. They try to run to france to Monsuir bellie button, who smells of cheese and onion.
It is at times like this that I remember that I was never a normal child, I likes stories with substance not filled with jokes about smelling etc. However as I was reading this to a class of 9 year olds I was able to guage their reaction to this and they were delighted and enthralled by the whole experience. It was well written with follow through on the plot lines and good descriptive passages (even show more if I did not like what they described.)
Lets the kids have it, they will love it, just dont let the parents see it.

Shabba me whiskers! It was brill.
