Elementary Systematics: A Tool for Understanding Wholes (Science of Mind Series)

An excellent book about the framework of systematics. Systematics works through understanding [synthesis] as opposed to through knowledge [analysis]. This book introduces the first five integers: the monad [content], diad [nature], triad [relationship], tetrad [reciprocity], and pentad [potential].

Bennett's style is very approachable, first, because the chapters of the book were first delivered as lectures, and second, because they were compiled by an excellent editor.

The book is short, but covers the basics with a number of examples, and gives a lot of further reading at the back.
