Uncomfortably Brave
Review of the Audible Original audiobook (Nov. 2019) based on the original stage-play "Accidentally Brave"

This memoir of a family's survival after the husband has been caught with child pornography is alternately cringey, shameful, but yes, brave, in that it goes well beyond the usual surface stuff of the criminal sentencing and probation and sexual addiction rehab of the defendant, but instead focuses on the aftermath for the wife and family. You think at first that some material is not suited for non-private display, but I can well imagine that going through the process of documenting her ups and downs was part of Maddie Corman's self-therapy in order to carry on.
