No Angel

This author and this series were what got me "hooked" on this genus. The men of this series started with two...three before the first book ends, and they have just kept adding to their "family" with each new story. These guys are all finally under one roof and they literally burn the pages with their love for each other. Are their love lives unconventional? To most folks...probably. Even some of their family members think that it's over the top unconventional; but what matters in the long run is that it makes them HAPPY, and it WORKS for them. You love who you love and that’s all that matters! One of my more favorite lines was when Josh realized, in the middle of making Thanksgiving dinner that “Love doesn't have conditions…. Love show more possesses no limits, no fear, no shame". (all titles of the other books in this series) "Love rises above that; otherwise, it wouldn’t be love.” I had to think, "Well said Josh". I had not expected this special treat, so it was a welcome, wonderful surprise gift. I ask you...what can be more fun than a wedding, especially a holiday wedding? Well, two couples in a duo wedding makes it a more pleasant surprise gift. Add in all the festivities of the holidays and you get lots of fun and sexy times. I especially liked the “Christmas Game”, that leave it to Indy, to came up with. These men are so thoughtful and really understand and respect each other's likes and differences. I thought that this series might be finished, but after being rewarded with this story.... hopefully maybe not. After Burke, Blake and Brad’s brother, show up at Thanksgiving wanting to ask for forgiveness...they certainly need/deserve their own stories. Nora Phoenix is one of my favorite authors. I believe I have read and/or own, everything that she currently has in print. This is definitely not a standalone book or series.... but everyone knows that I don't usually "follow the rules"...but for this series to make good sense, you really need to...I will try to do better:) Be better than me and start at the beginning with book 1, No Filter. Trust me, you will be glad that you did. show less
