Loading... Aggie and Ben: Three Storiesby Lori Ries
![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. I liked this book for two reasons. First, the language is patterned and clear for readers. Many sentences were similar and overlapped which gives a pattern to readers to easily follow along. Words are easy and sentences are clear for readers to read. It is straight forward with no confusion. Second reason is well-drawn illustrations. The drawing is easy and pretty clear what the story is about. Having pictures for every two-three sentences let readers understand the story easier. It could almost be used as a wordless book. ( ![]() Even though this is a book about a boy and his dog, our daughter immediately saw herself and HER dog in the stories. Reading was sidetracked several times while she told her own doggy tales. Since that first time when we read the book together, she has picked it up herself to read. To read our full review, go to The Reading Tub®. To be honest Aggie and Ben was too trite in all three of its stories. The child doesn't learn any concept other than loyalty, though this is an important attribute for children to acquire, this is more of a good book for reading acquisition than for any other kind of life messages to be found. no reviews | add a review
