Description

"Two enchanting fan-favorite tales of love and magic from #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts. Charmed: Anastasia Donovan has sworn off romance. After a past boyfriend refused to accept Ana's gift of witchcraft, Ana decided she would move on and start fresh. So when Ana befriends her new next-door neighbor--six-year-old Jessie--she doesn't plan on falling for Jessie's protective single father, Boone Sawyer. Boone and Ana have an undeniable connection and their relationship show more blooms quickly, but Ana decides to keep her magical secret to herself. The only magic Boone is used to is the kind he writes about in his acclaimed children's stories. How can Ana convince him that he's living in a real-life fairy tale? Enchanted: Tired of her practical life, Rowan Murray escapes to a peaceful secluded cabin on a whim for a much-needed adventure. Her only companions are her neighbor, the reclusive and mysterious Liam Donovan, and a wolf that lives in the woods around her house. Strange as it seems, Rowan befriends the wild animal, finding his presence comforting in the midst of such uncertainty in her life. Eventually, Liam warms to Rowan, too. But he's hiding a secret about his true identity--one that might scare Rowan away if he reveals it before she's ready..."--Provided by publisher. show less

While I very much enjoy her other "paranormals" I was highly disappointed in the Charmed/Enchanted duo. More so by Enchanted than Charmed. Perhaps reading the first 2 in the series first would improve? Enchanted was a stretch to "believe" and the "hero" was rather unlikeable really. Light, fluffy, not so well developed characters, the "paranormal" seemed overdone, although based in realism of the craft. All in all, a good read (hers always are) but no where near the quality of the Three Sister's Island trilogy.
4 stars for Charmed
2,5 stars for Enchanted. A little bit boring for a Nora Roberts, maybe because of the lack of interaction with other characters.
I am a Nora Roberts fan but this book is by far one of my favorites. The plot line is in depth and not as full of drama as all of her other books.
I really didn't like this book very much. It got boring in the middle and I pushed through to get to the ending. It did have it's good parts but I didn't think it was worth the time.
I LOVED THIS BOOK ESPECIALLY ENCHANTED IT WAS SO FUNNY WHEN THE WOLF CAME INTO HER CABIN AND SLEPT WITH HER WITHOUT HER KNOWING IT WAS HER NEIGHBOR SHE WAS FALLING IN LOVE WITH

CHARMED WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL TOO. I LOVED THE PARTS WHERE THE LITTLE DAUGHTER PLAYED A CHARACTER
