2530 Hitler's Japanese Confidant General Oshima Hiroshi and MAGIC Intelligence, 1941-1945 by Carl Boyd (read 21 Aug 1993) This is a 1993 book on intercepted reports from the Japanese ambassador in Berlin during the war. The ambassador never knew his reports were being intercepted and read. This book stresses the importance of MAGIC--and there are still a few items in the intercepts which are not declassified. One wonders why. Oshima was tried as a war criminal after the war, given life, paroled in Dec. 1955, and died June 6, 1975 at 89.
