City Secrets: New York City

I lived in NYC for a few years, and I loved searching this book for new places to explore. It's a great source for people who've visited the more traditional tourist spots or like to avoid common attractions. My only complaint is that it doesn't have photos.

As a traveller, and devourer of travel books, I love this 'City Secrets' series. Not for a first time traveller, or someone looking for the nuts and bolts of planning a trip, but for someone wanting to get to know some of the lesser known byways, or even the more interesting aspects of the mainstream tourist sites.

We LOVE these books--great for gifts too!
