SPYxFAMILY is one of my favourite mangas of all time. Honestly, it's a delightfully fun manga with lots of action, comedy and suspense. I get so giddy and excited

The couple themselves are sugary sweet yet highly hilarious. They are a mismatch that obvious get along but seem to not admit they the perfect pair. Add in the amusing scenarios they get into for their missions and you've got one winning combination. It's fun, light hearted and an absolute joy. It's what I want out of my mangas.

The brother-in-law scenario was full of hijinks that had me snickering and full on addicted to this series. It's only getting better! It's rare for me to actually giggle along with a book (other than have a small smile at the funny parts), so it was show more such a gem to have that again! That's how good of a book this was to me. It's actually really funny. There was also some chaotic date night shenanigans that occurred (that our leads weren't necessarily aware of) that made this book go over the top and be even better.

So, yes - this is one of my favourite series and I will continue to grab all of the volumes that I can. I absolutely love it and highly recommend it to everyone seeking some spy-filled comedy in their lives.

Five out of five stars.

Ugh, why do some mangas love a dude with a sister complex? After like age 6, that changes from over-protectiveness to pure weirdness. Yo, Yuri, it ain’t bout to be you. Get out the way for a real man!

STILL, I’m enjoying this series. It’s still fresh and crispy like a bag of chips. I adore little Anya (and Damian) too! The art style is so clean and sleek. The extra chapter was a bunch of fun.

3.5
After an amusing visit from Yor's brother, Loid wonders if he should be putting much trust Yor and decides to put her to the test. Meanwhile daughter Anya puts her telepathy to use in a dynamic game of dodgeball. It's all fun, but I'm starting to wonder exactly how many volumes this first mission is going to take. The last few pages seem to imply we're still in the phase of introducing core characters.

Thank goodness for another brief side adventure in the back of the book.
I received this e-book ARC of Spy × Family, volume 3 by
Tatsuya Endo through Net Galley from VIZ Media in exchange for a truthful review.

The manga of the Forger family and their mission, Operation Strix, continues: secret agent dad Loid aka Twilight, his mind-reading first-grade adopted daughter, Anya, and his assassin wife, Yor aka Thorn Princess.
Yor's secret police younger brother, "Uncle" Yuri, makes an appearance as well.

None of them know each other's secret and it amount to a whole lot of fun while they try to forge some real family relationships as their cover!
Three and a half stars for this volume. I debated on if I should round up to four, but I didn't like it as much as Volume 2. Not sure why, but in case it was just a matter of reading too much in a row so that the style didn't seem fresh, I won't start Volume 3 immediately. Some things shouldn't be binged.
Another really fun volume except for Yuri and his weird crush on his sister??
The whole Yuri being obsessed with his sister Yor part was really weird and made me uncomfortable.
