Description

After the devastating events at Zodiac Academy, we have to deal with this darker world we're faced with. Lionel seeks to hurt us, the nymphs seek to hurt the entire fae race, and between all of it, we just have to try and survive each day as it comes. I'm afraid of everything falling apart, but it looks like it already has.

Omg, so much pining over the starcrossed issue - which I get, I do... but it really could have been at least 100 pages shorter and still driven the point home more than enough.

And don't get me started on Lance... What the heck was he thinking?!!

I do really love that the heirs and Vegas are getting along now, and finally working together though. This is the progress I've been needing for the last few books!

But if they take this guardian bond all the way, I WILL RIOT! Please... don't do this...

Overall, still loving the series, but the sisters sure are good at making you ache, feel all the heartbreak, and have anxiety over these cliffy endings... OMG...
Wooo...

Hold up, rewind here a bit.

I thought once you went to the Fae realm all traces of you are faded from everyone's memory. This includes images and everything in between. So, how the hell is Tory's ex-boyfriend able to remember her? Unless the authors used him as a punching bag for the Celestial Heirs. It still does not make sense to me that he held his memory.

I wish I could say that I am beginning to love this series but I have been on the fence with them since the beginning. There have been moments that I have loved and frustrating moments where I have contemplated stopping this series altogether. I watched characters grow a bit in character and I have watched them go backwards to the very beginning. The side characters have show more become far more interesting than the entire leads.

Tory's character growth is slightly slow throughout this book but we can see her working through all of her grief. I also loved that Gabriel also pointed out that all this was not entirely Darius's fault but hers as well. She doesn't want to hear it. She wants to drop everything on Darius and not take responsibility for some of the things that had been done.

Darcy and Orion are perfect. That is all I have to say about them.

Am I going to continue this series? I am this far in so I am going to finish this series. I will also read the possible final book when it comes out some time this week.

I made the mistake of writing this review after already reading a good portion of book 6, so this review isn't going to be that great. I don't want to get mixed up with stuff in the other book ...

This one was better than the last but it still felt a little longer than it needed to be. I found myself rushing through some of the parts because it dragged. Other parts caused so much pain, and they happened to be my favorite.

Tory grew on me here. I love the relationship she's slowly building with Orion. Darius is frustrating. Tory is starting to see how much he adores her, which i'm glad she's picking up. It just doesn't make sense that he's so in love with her but won't accept her on the throne over him and the other heirs?

Darcy and Orion show more are still my favorite couple even if they are having a rough patch right now. I hope that gets sorted next book. I'm waiting for something GOOD!!!!

Seth is starting to jump up on my list, he's being so cute!

Lionel is TOO POWERFUL. It feels like everything keeps going in his favor and the mountain the girls are going to have to climb is becoming near impossible. I love that they have Gabriel, and that's one of the best parts in this book.

Similar to every other book in this series, I want to absolutely scream after finishing the last chapter. Nothing can fix this hole that this story just punched through my chest except for rushing to get the next book and hoping that this travesty is fixed!
Too much of detailed sex makes you feel like you have a voyeuristic disorder. Does the author have this disorder? Don't think it's normal. On the whole the plot is interesting.
I don’t cry over books. Never. Almost never. Ok, never unless it’s this book. Because
This book was just too long. Too much was not happening and I was getting bored until things picked up again. I used to love Tory but wasn't a fan of her in this book. It felt like her character has changed too much.
