Description

"Shirley Booth opened to rave notices playing a woman with encyclopedic knowledge of facts and figures who works in a television network reference department. Electronic brains are installed to do the work of people, soon replacing whole departments, but Emmaracs can not best Bunny in a game of wits she causes them to blow fuses. Here is a telling comedy rich in hilarity for anyone who has ever worked in an office" -- publisher.

Enjoyed the movie yesterday, despite a few quibbles with the plausibility that Bunny and the girls would be so *very* set on marrying and other bits that date it. And poor Miss Marriner (sp?). I see from other reviews that there are minor changes from the play; I would like to see if they're enough to make a difference in vibe and import (as is so often the case).
