This is a light & entertaining read..... I understand this is the last of a trilogy, but for me it stood alone just fine.

There is romance, murder, mystery & politics of a small town.

However....the dialog was highly improbable... No man I have Ever met in my 40 years of having interest in boys/men has Ever spoken in the ways the men in this novel speak....Especially Not to Women!

Another thing...was the guilty party was never once brought up in the book until the last chapter.....so it's all like a Red Herring and comes out of nowhere!

As "Romances" go this was enjoyable.....
rabck from dvg; last in the series. Will stand alone, but reading the first two help provide some backstory. Now it's Tucker's turn for love. He walks in to his ex-girlfriend sleeping in his bed. She's in big trouble - her politician husband was murdered, but she didn't do it. Now to track down who really did kill the hubby, and stirring up the widow's feelings for him.

Seems everyone in town has an opinion about their top cop's reunion romance, including Tucker's father, King Spencer, who's determined to manage his son's love life — even as he mismanages his own. But Tucker's not listening. show more He needs to clear Mary Elizabeth's name...and maybe even save her life.
