Meg Cabot's "The Princess Diaries" was really funny and heart warming story. It's about how this nerdy and akward looking girl turning out to be a princess and gets a full makeover and she now looks like a really gorgeous girl.I just love how they show that anything can happen to you (soomething good) even though you might think you are a loser or if you are at your lowest point of your life.
I think the theme of this book was that you can be or do anything no matter what other people think of you or have done to you as long as you have fatih in yourself you can do anything. Like in the book Mia was a nerdy and akward looking girl but then her boring old life gets turned around when her grandmother tells her that she is a princess. She show more gets a whole new makeover and everything changes and people treat her differently. I like how the book is written as a diary because it shows how the character is actually feeling and thinking so you can relate and understand the book more. I would reccomend this book for other people who like more of the princess adventure books. show less
