This story is about Mrs. Frizzle and Arthur taking a trip back in time to a medieval castle and walking around discovering things about the lives of the different kinds of people who lived there such as peasants an knights, what kind of jobs they had, the construction of castles, some medieval war tactics, and different rooms in castles. This is all done while telling a story and illustrating the book in different sections in a comic like form. I think this book would be a really good additional material in a unit on medieval times, or to have in your library to accompany your magic school bus books, or to have for readers who enjoy informational texts a little more.
