This is a very good introduction to the general view of scholars about the New Testament. Although I don't agree with much of it, the author is very balanced, objective without any bias or vitriol, easy to understand, and cites many further references on each New Testament book. He covers all major aspects and so this is an excellent starting point for New Testament issues.
