Like Volume 1, Volume 2 of Discover Japan needs to be reprinted. It is still one of the best, most concise and entertaining books on Japanese words, culture and customs available in the English language. Fresh, informed, personal descriptions range from "Naked Festivals" (Hadaka Matsuri) to "Nothingness" (Mu)and 98 things in between. I wish the Culture Institute of Japan--if it still exists--would give us a Volume 3
