What a dark and twisty ride! Be warned, there are major triggers and violence ahead. I found myself cheering Story on and willing her to survive all she's going through. I think she'll turn out to be like a phoenix and rise from all the flames she's endured. I can't wait to see the majestic being she's bound to evolve into. Already having endured oh so much, to keep safe she runs right into the lions den. Take this trip with her as all her emotions, scabs and heart are laid bare, and she has to take a few knocks to start her journey of change. Yet could it be she's not the only one changing and growing? In a world.where she doesn't know who is friend and who is foe, where family can't even be trusted, who can Story count on? Through it show more all a dark cloud continues to threaten her....who is the hidden threat, and can/will the Lords protect her or believe she's in danger? Dark themes reign supreme here along with jealousy, lust and many other of the seven sins. As dark as the story is, I can't wait to see Story be the victor (hopefully) in the end. I love dark romance and this was dark indeed and loved it. Killian, Rath, and Tristan, love them all with multiple POV this story takes it to a new level, trigger warnings, but since I have none I really liked the story, refreshing in a twisted way. It hooked me from the start, the cover is amazing, the writing was good, and definitely loved all the angst, drama, and emotional side of it all. You like darkness, read this one now, and get me book 2, please!

I loved this series. It was exactly what I needed to get me out of a book slump. The only thing that I could not get down with is the constant use of "spunk." Took me out of the moment quite a few times. Otherwise, I had a good time.

IDK why I kept reading. Hoping it would get better. Now I want to know how she gets her revenge.
Boring characters. Tons of cliche personality traits.

I wasn't prepared for the mind games and what it would entail to be a lady to the lords. Definitely had me sitting on the edge of my seat. I'm hooked and needing more.

I'm sort of digging this book. The series seems to be starting off as the first book being about all the guys, and then the next books being about each individual one. However from what I've checked there's multiple books so it should be interesting. I'm settling in to read the next book and we'll see how things go.
