An interesting collection of short stories from Bolivia. All were readable and a couple were notable and one that was built on the recollection of an old man was noir. I look for realism in writing. even in Sci-Fi. That doesn't include magical realism and there were a few of those. I look for the edges and contrasts in the lives of individuals as they deal with those around them and the situations that life casts at them. A story that tells of them and thei time. Only one of those. The Indian Pailino was that story.
