Throne of Vengeance

The continuation of Kyle and Rai’s story is an epic journey that I could not put down. It picks up where book two left off and now a lot of things are happening. Kyle has some things up his sleeve and Rai is still trying to establish her place in the family. Not wanting to give too much away because this duet was such a great read with all the twists and turns some expected and some not expected, it should be experienced by the reader. Kyle was amazing, smart, ruthless, but loved hard and Rai was strong, a fighter, reluctant to let many people close to her, but Kyle saw the real her. Another hit with this series that blew me away!

I can always count on this author to give me a story that I can sink my teeth into. This was a continuation of the first book that had ended on a cliffhanger. The story was compelling and riveting, especially with how the first book had ended.

I was one of the people that didn't connect with Rai and Kyle the way that I wanted in the first book. So, this story was a much-needed bonus because I finally found that connection between the characters. The backstory is brought forth and I was able to appreciate the characters in a new way.

That being said, they still weren't my favorite couple that this author has written but it was still good. This author's B rated books are an A-rated book for many other authors. I look forward to show more what this author has coming next. Knowing her, it will be a bumpy ride. show less

I so needed this book after the cliffhanger the author left us on the previous book. I loved this duet, the ending to Kyle and Rai's story was brilliant. An arranged marriage and fight for the power with the angst and suspense perfectly balanced to keep me reading throughout the whole book non-stop. This mafia duet is a must-read, definitely fast-paced, intriguing, with amazing characters and a whole world ready for you to discover. Buckle up to read the finale!

em várias reviravoltas Kylie descobre que na verdade é realmente filho de um dos chefes russos Mikail e mata o tio quando ele tenta machucar Rai termina um livro com ela já grávida Nicolai.
Pontos interessantes aparece pela primeira vez o fantasma assassino conhecido que atuou como pai de caire e o criou, no final atitude de Anastácia gera suspeitas e a e ao gatilho para o próximo livro.
Outros ganchos, os chefes da máfia aparecem mais dando abertura para os próximos livros Adrian como o cérebro e Pakran, Damien e sua proposta de casamento arranjado com a Yakusa e Kirian com um histórico aparentemente homossexual e seu relacionamento próximo com um dos seus guardas que na verdade é uma mulher disfarçada. show less
