Sweet Holy titfire...

If I was still a practicing Catholic, I would need to be in confession atoning for my sins after reading this book. I have been around from the beginning reading all of these interconnected stories. Up to this point, the Morelli's were winning as being my favorite family of characters to root for. I still hate Caroline with a passion, but move over, Keaton and Winston because your sister has taken the top spot with a little help from Father Magnus.

I am not sure I can even do a review that would give this justice. All I can say is that there is a reason that this author is one of the best out there. She took taboo to a whole new level. I have to admit, I am a little disappointed that none of the priests when I was show more going to catechism classes, attending private school, and attending mass looked anything like Magnus which is probably a good thing since I already was rebelling at being forced to being Catholic. BUT, I sure wish they were like him because he was DELICIOUS and would have made those years go by so much faster. It also would have been fuel for the jill bank.

The author did a great job building characters that had depth. She created a plausible storyline that worked well with small cameos or mentions of other characters that have been pivotal in the Midnight Dynasty world. She built the anticipation between the characters in such a way that I wanted to, both, be put out of my misery and also wish that it kept building. When the time finally happened, it was so erotic, hot, and taboo. I loved the banter between the characters as they fought against the pull each other had on the other. There was one scene that I have never seen in a book, that shouldn't have been sexy but sweet holiest of titfires it was. I am not sure I can ever look at that particular necessity that women need the same ever again.

I highly recommend this book. It was taboo in the best of ways. This book is entirely independent and does not need to be read in any order of the Midnight Dynasty world. However, it will likely make you want to go check out the other characters' stories that were written by other authors.

3.5 ⭐️?

i gotta keep marinating on this one. i had fun but i was let down by the direction their relationship went in. was hoping for some serious bdsm, and instead he just like choked her a tiny bit. and i know pam godwin is capable of some dark shit, so why was this so bizarrely vanilla?? (not me calling a relationship between a priest and his student vanilla
Holy Molly! This book is sin incarnated, okay, I love forbidden romances, and this one met the mark. We get a forbidden age-gap kinky steamy hot story, where Tinsley and Father Magnus Falke will set your reading device on fire. The storyline is interesting, after two chapters I got hooked and when all the steam began I couldn't stop reading. This is a hot forbidden story that will set you on fire. You love this type of book then just click on it and thank me later. Hot!

This is the first book I've read by Pam Godwin, but it won't be my last! Lessons in Sin is an age-gap, taboo romance with moderate bully/BDSM features. Tinsley and Magnus are irresistibly drawn to each other despite societal and family issues that threaten to keep them apart. Loved the twist at the end - I didn't see it coming. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

4 Stars
Good and intense.
Some things that didn't sit quite right with me.
Apparently this is part of a multi author series where every book is Stand alone. Not sure how they connect and doubt I will read any of the other authors stories.
