Contemporary YA about hope, and resistance, and being true to yourself. Hope Cassidy's family broke after her beloved older sister ran away from home after being outed as a lesbian and threatened with a conversion therapy camp by their conservative Christian parents. A year later, Hope offers a place to her classmate who is kicked out of his home after coming out. Together, they heal each other and try to heal the world through rock and roll. This was an absolute delight!
