This collection of articles and essays centers around Vladimir Putin's Middle East foreign policy since 2001. Many of these pieces are written by officials who played a direct part in crafting Russian policy in this region: from Yevgeny Primakov, the first prime minister of the Putin era; to longtime Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, UN adviser Vladimir Orlov, and Energy Minister Aleksandr Novak. This collection also features independent research articles from reputable scholars.
