Very fun & funny, while also thoughtful & compassionate - narrator is a very unusual 9 year old girl.

The cover caught my attention. The plot sums it up well - the 9 year old definitely doesn’t read as a 9 year old most of the time. There were a few parts about her thinking of life without her mother that had me tearing up but I just didn’t find it interesting enough to finish.
