This book briefly covers the history, architecture, geometry, and art of the Parthenon. It is 47 pages long, plus glossary and index, and has lots of photographs and very clear diagrams. Looking for something short to read, I picked this out of my bookshelf at random. It pushed me to read (finally!) The Life of Greece by Will Durant.
