A wonderful, short and swift tale of suspense, it involves Phil Brant who reveres his older brother who died in "Nam. But visits from two 'friends' of Vinnie suggests that he was not the perfect role model Phil saw him as. Written in short to medium-length chapters full of pathetic fallacy and often ending in foreshadowing to maximize the thrill, it is gripping on every page.
