Boy, this book is so much better than I thought it would be...sweet, funny, emotional and (best of all!) the writer takes her time with the love story and presents wonderful characters you grow to care about. My only pet peeve with the novel is Marianne K. Martin's constant use of words like "lifestyle" and "lover." The use of both words in this case is especially jarring considering the two women who fall in love are more the committed and caring type than women who pursue a life of bar hopping and casual affairs. Of course, I have never been a big fan of the word "lover" in any situation since it's always struck me as an odd word to use when describing someone special in your life...just my two cents. Overall: this is a really cute, show more breezy read much needed in a world where lesbian fiction can sometimes be just plain awful! show less
