In this book, Mr Spolsky writes tips about recruiting top programmers for your company. The good thing is that even though the intended audience is recruiting people, this book is also a good read for people who are looking for jobs.
More than that, even people who are working will find this book an excellent source of tips and motivation to work even better.
Even more than that, it will make you once again believe in humanity.
On the flip side, this book re-use a lot of materials from Mr Spolsky's earlier books. The new thing about this book is the organization of ideas.

I was a little disappointed with the shortness of the book, I finished it in
two hours. Also, the content is just a rehashing of what you can read on his
website, but there's still some value in reading this book; especially if
you are running your own small software development business, and are
wondering about hiring a programmer.
Good, down to earth practical interviewing advice. Engaging writing stlye and a viewpoint on the software industry.
Lots of practical advice on hiring developers and how to create the right environment to attract and keep the best. Nothing too earth shattering, but stuff that's easily ignored in the rush to fill positions and the desire to cut costs.
How to Hire good programmers. Somewhat useful for other types of hiring - great for attitude and enjoyable writing style.
A nicely written book about high-quality software developer recruitment which focuses more on the do's and dont's of recruitment as well as can and cannots of managing a group of software developers working for a software production company.
Interesting. Really helpful on talent programmer and recruiting.
