WOW, I was so engrossed with keeping up with Alex as we twisted, turned and tried to keep up with him! I did not like to read the book in short stories, and I panicked at the end of book one, but breathe a sigh as the story quickly began again. Alex had flashback of his partner's death and ran off everyone he was paired with, until he was paired a bright young man. I did not his Director as he appeared as such a hard nosed as he DEMANDED that he go undercover to uncover a new enemy with limited information on WHO the threat could be. I felt sorry for Alex as his former partner haunted him in his dreams, but book one had AN EXPLOSIVE ENDING THAT I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT AND I AM EAGER TO READ BOOK TWO!!
