Set in Quentaris, this book is fantasy action from the first page. While Zelder translates an ancient book of spells in a tiny room, in the alley below the Stalker skilfully dispenses with 5 members of the Murder’s Guild. Who is he? Why is he seemingly invincible and what is he after that Zelder has? With only her brave but daft brother Corran, for a bodyguard and fellow translator Spandar for a companion, Zelder must work out who is friend and who is foe in this superior Quentaris novel.
