I had to look more carefully at chapter descriptions to remember what this volume entails. Basically it's a transition from seemingly random adventures that don't make sense until the greater context, which is revealed with the new main bad guy (which made be laugh and smile like Luffy as soon as I remembered the character design--suddenly the rush of this arc came back) and the new plot: battle royale! This is my favorite battle royale. Pfft, forget Hunger Games and other influences that I have truly forgotten but it's not like battle royale scenarios are new to fiction.
Part 4 of the Skypiea Saga: In which our merry band of heroes (pirates) regroup to find the hidden treasure ...by getting lost. Plus, the villain finally appears.
chapters 247-255. Ugh, Enel's such an asshole.
