I very much enjoyed this book. I expected a "how to" book with a list of does and don'ts. It is really a series of essays on prayer with some application at the end of each essay. I enjoyed the authors insights and personal anecdotes of the power of prayer in his life.
This was a helpful book with practical tips to improve prayer life and communication with God. One nugget I loved was that God is an emotional God and there is a good way to handle every emotion.
I enjoyed Staton's writing style. This will be a beneficial, easily accessible, resource for leading others in the practice of prayer.
