This beautiful story had me swooning and loving the characters right from page one. Dani is trying to find her independence by moving to a new town, but she doesn't like the job she has and she takes her dog to the park every day sees the "statue man" staring at the water and wonders what his story is. One day Ever saves Dani from a dangerous situation and becomes attached to her because of his past then it becomes more than just wanting to be a savior, he actually starts falling for her. These two had immediate connection and chemistry as they start to learn about each other. Ever can't help but want to be the one to help Dani and Dani just wants to know the man she is falling for but he is full of secrets. When more drama occurs Ever is there and her saving grace. I fell so hard for Ever and couldn't blame Dani for her attraction to this guy. The bond he had with friends was amazing because he kept his circle small, but Dani became instantly a part of this. I can't explain how beautiful this story was and how they both helped each other find love and trust. Can't wait for more!! ( )
